Government Workshop: Mobile
Over the last several years, governments at all levels have faced a range of technological changes, from the arrival and rapid adoption of social media to the emergence and growing popularity of web-enabled smartphones and related mobile capabilities. These changes affect the way governments do their work, engage and communicate with the public, and provide services to their citizens. While many government professionals see “going” mobile as the way of the future, they also recognize that such change presents many challenges and questions that need to be addressed to make such transformation possible.

CTG is launching a study of the challenges connected with government's adoption of mobile technologies by conducting three workshops to elicit input from government professionals from New York State, New York, and the US federal government.

This first workshop is geared towards New York state and local employees.
