On October 28th, CTG held the first in a series of four workshops for its project, Creating an Enterprise IT Governance Framework for New York State Government. The workshop brought together over 30 CIOs and IT directors from both state and local government to explore questions about the value of enhancing enterprise IT governance within New York. CTG will provide the results from each event in workshop reports; the first workshop report will be available by early December on the CTG project page. The next workshop with this community will be on December 8th and will also be held at the Empire State Plaza in Albany.

In addition to the Albany workshops, there will be two additional events in New York City on November 17th and December 11th to gather the perspectives of CIOs in that area.
