What brought you to the CTG UAlbany?

I’m a Computer Science graduate student in UAlbany’s College of Engineering and Applied Sciences UAlbany since Fall 2017.

My blend of expertise in computer science and data analytics brought me here. 

I want to take these skills and solve the complex data analytics problems within ongoing CTG projects. 

This is an exciting opportunity to learn about and to work with the latest technologies while also following my passion for working with data. 

This will not only a chance to enhance my skillset but also make me industry ready.

What did you do prior to coming to CTG UAlbany?

I was a software engineer with Sopra Steria on an Airbus project. 

My technology was SAP and I performed tasks like deployment of SAP systems on Linus and Windows servers. 

I worked on Oracle and SAP HANA Databases and I have Hands-on experience of SAP BusinessObjects Lumira, Design Studio, Crystal Reports, Predictive Analytics, SAP BW and HANA data modeling which helped me get into Data and Statistical Analytics.

What are your plans/goals for the future?

I want to pursue a career in the field of data science and analytics upon completion of my masters degree. 

I am skilled in Python, R, Big Data and Apache Hadoop. 

With my academic accomplishments, strong analytical thinking skills, my fervent interest in leveraging my skill set, and experience making a positive impact in the industry, I am certain to make a significant contribution as an engineer.

How can CTG UAlbany help you reach your goal for the future?

Working at CTG UAlbany has helped me in gaining knowledge by working on innovative projects, new technologies, and thinking outside of the box.  

It is helping me achieve my goals and teaching me the work ethic I need to work in the IT Industry.

I am lucky to learn about new technologies and expand my skill set. 

The technologies that I use here at CTG UAlbany are also being used to by top software companies.

I’m confident that the problems and challenges that I’m learning about and solving here will help to accelerate my career.
