OPENGOV CAMP NYC
Date/Time: Sunday, June 5, 2011, 10 a.m - 6 p.m.
Location: CUNY Graduate School of Journalism, 219 West 40th Street, NYC
This is a one day conversation on how participation builds transparency to deliver efficiency. The organizers are a community of doers and decision-makers talking about what works-and what doesn't. OpenGov is open to anyone who is excited about transparency and technology in government; whether you are a developer, journalist, activist, organizer or government employee, you should attend.
The day will focus on three questions:
- Where is "local" Open Government going?
- How can we deepen the knowledge of what Open Government can be?
- What are the social and technical tools affecting Open Government's development?
