Web Site Management Using XML: A Testbed Project
New York State agencies and local governments are invited to apply to participate in a project that uses a new Web site framework based on XML. The goals are more effective web sites and better management of site cost and complexity. The project is being conducted in cooperation with the NYS Governor's Office of Employee Relations (GOER) and the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). It will involve training sessions, workshops, and hands-on development of prototypes and business cases.
All who are interested in submitting a proposal are invited to a two-hour Information Session on June 2, 2005 from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at CTG.
At the Information Session, the CTG project team will cover in detail the goals of the project, guidelines for proposals, the selection process, and project time frame. There will be time for questions and answers.
To learn more about this new project, please review the project description at http://www.ctg.albany.edu/projects/xmltb and register for the information session at http://www.ctg.albany.edu/projects/xmltb-info?sub=info.
