Personal Background
BSc(HONS) in European Business with Technology at the University of Brighton (UK). I obtained the Master of Management in the Network Economy degree (MiNE) at the Catholic University of Piacenza and a PhD in Economics, Management and Industrial Engineering at the Polytechnic of Milan.
I spent one year in the United States working as a visiting scholar at the School of Information Management and Systems (UC Berkeley) and at the Center for Technology in Government (NY). Since 2001 I joined the Technology to Business Unit of the Mario Boella Institute where I am in charge of the research and project management activities involved in studying and monitoring the diffusion of ICT technologies among the stakeholders present on the regional territory.
I currently teach on a yearly basis courses on "eGovernment and Online Auctions" and "Economics of Information" to undergraduate as well as international master students.
Interest in the Field of Digital Government
My research interests are multidisciplinary and lie in the overlaps of economics, policy, telecommunications and information technology. Some research topics I have dealt with are: regulation of the broadband market, innovation and technology management in the public sector, policy making for the development of the Information Society at regional level.
