At this year's MENA ICT Forum™, Sharon Dawes spoke on a panel titled, The Truth about eGovernment, along with the eGov program directors of both Jordan and Saudi Arabia. The main theme of the Forum was Arab ICT Spring: Realizing Potential, which featured a content-rich agenda that covers vital current and future issues related to regional investment climates, legislative supportive systems, infrastructure & communications, emerging technologies, as well as education and human capital development.

In addition to participating in the Forum, Sharon enjoyed a reunion with former CTG graduate assistant, Fawzi Mulki (pictured) who graduated in 2009 with a PhD in Informatics from UAlbany's College of Computing and Information. Fawzi is currently the director of business development at Royal Jordanian Airlines.
