The University at Albany's Information Technology Commons (IT Commons) is designed to increase the number of information technology courses in the University’s curriculum. The IT commons supports world class research and educational programs in information-related studies throughout many of the disciplines on campus. Through the IT Commons, students can take information technology courses through multiple departments around the University. The Commons shares faculty members who participate in discipline-based and interdisciplinary research in areas related to IT.
