CTG Explores Use of Social Media in Government

In response to growing interest in and concerns about social media in the public sector, CTG recently launched a project aimed at exploring the use of these tools by government agencies. CTG conducted two workshops to collect information on the value NYS agencies seek in their use of social media, as well as their most pressing questions and concerns regarding that use. A summary report of the workshops is now available. This report is one of several resources CTG will produce to provide practical guidance on the use of social media tools in government.
